Keynote Speaker

Speaker

Kristin Scroggin is a nationally recognized generational researcher, professional speaker, and founder of genWHY Communication. A former university professor, Kristin has spent more than 20 years studying how generational experiences shape the way people communicate, lead, learn, and work. Her research-driven, humor-filled approach moves beyond generational stereotypes to help organizations better understand the “why” behind workplace behaviors.

Kristin spent 17 years in the classroom teaching Communication at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where her interest in generational differences first took shape. What began as an effort to better understand her students grew into years of research focused on how experiences with technology, education, authority, communication, and work influence what different generations expect from one another.

Today, Kristin brings that research to organizations looking to strengthen communication, leadership, collaboration, and workforce strategy. Her presentations combine research, real-world examples, practical strategies, and humor to give audiences tools they can apply immediately in the workplace.

Kristin has shared her insights with more than 450 organizations and at 250+ conferences across 48 states and three countries. Her work spans organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies and government agencies to associations and nonprofits.
